2009-2013: I obtained my B.S. with honors in Materials Physics from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), where I worked with Prof. Yi Xie on two-dimensional (2D) layered materials for Li-ion battery.
2013-2019: I did my Ph.D. in Chemistry with Prof. Tianquan (Tim) Lian at Emory University on ultrafast spectroscopy of colloidal 2D nanocrystals for lasing and solar energy conversion.
Research Experience
2019-2021: I moved to Columbia University and worked with Prof. Xiaoyang Zhu on angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) of 2D superatomic and transition metal dichalcogenids (TMDs) semiconductors for condensed matter physics.
2021-presnet: I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow in Department of Physics, University of Michigan, working with Prof. Hui Deng on cavity- and twist-engineering of 2D van der Waals semiconductors and magnets for nano-photonics and quantum information science.
