I enjoy interacting and discussing about science with people from all age groups.

At the University of Michigan, I participated in the Metro Detroit Youth Day outreach event. This event included youth guidance, anti-substance abuse activity, motivational speeches, and educational entertainment.

During the event, I performed several experimental demonstrations for kids ages 5 to 15, mainly from African American families. For example, I dropped an aluminum slug and a magnet slug through a copper tube separately and demonstrated how the eddy current generated by the dropping magnet reacts back on the magnet itself and brakes its dropping.

These demos stimulated children’s interests in science and encouraged their future activities in STEM fields.
